The training would aim to increase the awareness and acceptance of ‘burnout’ for oneself, others and within their professional field.

 

The course will discuss how ‘burnout’ or stress presents within yourself specifically in your body, your thoughts and emotional wellbeing. This would begin the process of awareness about what may be happening or have happened in your life previously.

 

The session will look at:

 

• Models of Burnout: what elements have been shown to lead to an experience of burnout

• How stress affects the mind and body

• Coping strategies: techniques that may be useful such as mindfulness
