I can't recommend Dr Lisa enough. She has helped me come out of mild form of depression linked to work and family related issues. Every time I went to see her I managed to improve and learn! She not only helped cure the symptoms of depression but the cause, which I felt was very thorough! Within 10 sessions I feel I have the ammunition to now get my life under control.

Having never taken CBT before and being a very positive and calm person, it was very hard for me to digest the fact that i need help to think clearly, positively and differently. However, I eventually realized that my thinking was going in the wrong direction and rather than fighting it, I had to solve it. The sessions I had with Dr. Lisa were extremely beneficial. They took me out from a very dark place and helped me to get back on track. They taught me to be kind to myself. I still practice the techniques I learnt from Dr. Lisa and I am very thankful to her for changing my life.

I undertook a course of CBT with Dr Alfrey & it has changed my life for the better. The weekly sessions & homework were individually tailored and well thought out. I always felt I was being listened to non-judgementally and empathetically. I'm very pleased with the tools I've been equipt with thanks to this CBT and would recommend Dr Alfrey.

I was fighting with anxiety on my own for a very long time until a friend recommended me to see Dr Lisa Alfrey. Already after first meeting I felt I should have booked my visit long time ago. She was very professional and helpful, gave me great advise that started to change my life. I don't know where I would be now without Dr Alfrey's help. I only can recommend to not fight anxiety on your own but go and talk to a professional and any day my recommendation would be to see Dr Lisa Alfrey. Thank you!

As my academic supervisor, Lisa has supported me through a number of written assignments. Lisa has helped me to develop an authoritative stance in my writing and to intertwine my 'voice' in all my work. I have experienced Lisa to be encouraging and constructive in person and in written feedback. Lisa made me feel comfortable from the moment we started working together, and has never made me feel as though I have done something 'wrong.' I consider Lisa to be integral to my training and I look forward to our ongoing work together.
